The Full Monteverdi

We have taken the decision to film the majority of the exteriors in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Although renowned for its regency splendor, Cheltenham has the diverse range of locations we need for this project; from urban streets to elegant hotels, open parks to residential suburbs. Gideon Darley at Cheltenham Borough Council is helping us out with all the red tape, although Cheltenham is definitely a ‘film-friendly’ location overall.

A special mention has to go to Ken at the Scout HQ in Cranham where we will be filming a camping scene. We will be employing Ken’s fire building skills to get that authentic camp-fire look without a gas tank in sight.

Yes, I think we might need a little warming up. Whose idea was it to include a camping scene and film it at night in January, for goodness sake? Oops.

In all seriousness, Cheltenham has provided a wealth of varied locations and they are helpfully close together: none of that London traffic to deal with, at least.
